Proper acoustic treatment is a fundamental complimentary for any good sound system. One can have good quality speakers and equipment, but an untreated room will hinder the same quality of the sound experience with the unwanted artifacts, such as flutter echo, room modes and resonance issues added by the room. A talk about acoustics will be delivered by Steven Psaila from Acoustics Malta. Highlighting the importance for treating recording studios with ‘soundproofing’ and acoustic products. A demonstration will follow, analyzing 2 different rooms in a typical recording studio setup. This process is performed using specialized calibrated equipment as used by Acoustics Malta for their room acoustics analysis.
