Joy Division trainspotters will immediately relate to A Means to an End as one of the sublime tracks on the iconic band's Closer album, but not in this case. Here, a means to an end encapsulates what the second instalment of Electronic Music Malta's series of industry talks aims to address.
The event proposes to go deep into questions that seek to explore what sparks off a new idea and how that idea can be developed into something bigger. Or how an artist can translate his or her idea into a project or installation and, just as importantly, how and where one can seek support and funding to bring such projects to fruition.
Electronic Music Malta will be presenting this public talk and discussion at 4pm on Saturday, March 3rd at Spazju Kreattiv, Valletta. Mario Sammut (Cygna), Andrew Schembri and Toni Gialanze (Late Interactive) and Toni Attard (Director, Culture Venture) will be talking about all of the above, while Tina Camilleri (Fine Arts Student at MCAST) will be chairing the discussion.
